Departures in 2027
Prices are per person. A place is held for 48 hours while you talk to a guide.
Other dates by enquiry. The course runs when a qualified guide confirms conditions on the glacier.

Do I need glacier experience?
No. Grade 2 means five to six hours a day on rough ground. The guide teaches everything you need on the course.
Where do we meet?
Near Sólheimajökull, at a meeting point confirmed with your place. Travel to the meeting point is not included.
What should I bring?
Walking boots, waterproof layers, warm gloves and a daypack. Crampons, harness, ice axe and helmet are provided.
